I have always been drawn to work that helps people better understand themselves and navigate the challenges that can get in the way of living the life they want. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I enjoy helping clients make sense of their experiences, build on their existing strengths, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful change.
I have experience providing psychotherapy for a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. I take a holistic and collaborative approach, recognizing that our emotional well-being is shaped not only by what is happening within us, but also by our relationships, environments, and life experiences. Whether you are working through a longstanding challenge, healing from a difficult experience, or simply feeling stuck, I work with you to understand what is getting in the way and identify a path forward.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, practical, and evidence-based. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing (MI), tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs and goals. I believe therapy should be both grounded in science and responsive to the person sitting in front of me.
I am a native of Connecticut and earned my Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Saint Joseph and my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in New York City. My clinical training and experience have strengthened my belief that effective therapy is not about applying a one-size-fits-all approach, but about understanding the whole person and finding strategies that fit their life.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and exploring local trails, reading, spending time with my family, and cheering on the New York Yankees.
