I’ve always been drawn to understanding people, not just what they’re going through, but how their experiences, strengths, and challenges shape the way they live. That curiosity led me to a career in psychology, where I found my passion in helping people navigate the changes that come with neurological conditions.

My work is built on the belief that recovery is more than just physical healing, it's about restoring independence, building confidence, and helping people feel like themselves again. My passion is working with individuals facing neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and dementia, guiding them through their recovery with compassion, practical strategies, and hope.

I graduated from Albizu University in Doral, Florida, with a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology and a concentration in Neuropsychology. I completed my first year of postdoctoral fellowship training at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, focusing on dementia and cognitive disorders, and I am now finishing my second year at Memorial Regional Hospital South, where I work with individuals recovering from a wide range of neurological injuries and conditions. These experiences have deepened my expertise while reinforcing my belief that care should be both scientifically informed and deeply human.

In our work together, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe healing isn’t just about managing symptoms, it’s about equipping you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to live life on your terms. Being fluent in both English and Spanish allows me to connect with people in a way that honors their language, culture, and story. Whether in a hospital, rehabilitation setting, or private practice, I strive to meet patients where they are, guiding them with empathy, respect, and hope.

Outside of work, I love cooking, spending time with my pets, traveling, and exploring new cultures. These experiences remind me every day of the joy in learning, connecting, and embracing the different ways we all experience the world.
